Christopher Bryant

Brooklyn Ecumenical Choir Director

Mr. Christopher Bryant is a native of Trenton, Kentucky, and a 2014 graduate of Stillman College. He began his undergraduate studies in music at Fisk University in Nashville, studying organ with Dr. Anthony Wilams.

 

Other principal organ instructors include Steve Wiggins and Jeff Binford. As a church musician, he has served six denominations throughout the south and northeast.

 

In 2014 Mr. Bryant became the youngest person appointed to serve as Minister of Music at the Historic First A.M.E. Zion Church of Brooklyn, New York. In addition to his church work, Mr. Bryant has served as a music educator for New York City Department of Education, Atlanta Public Schools, and most recently Henry County Schools as the Director of Choral Activities at Dutchtown High School.

 

Mr. Bryant is currently pursuing his Masters of Music Education at the University of Southern Mississippi.
