Brooklyn Ecumenical Choir Director

After much prayer, consideration, evaluation and discussion, Dr. Cliff Smith  has graciously decided to take up the mantle and the musical baton as Conductor to continue its mission and the legacy of The Brooklyn Ecumenical Choir and its founders.

Dr. Cliff Smith is a motivational and  transformational leader who has accepted the role as Conductor of The Brooklyn Ecumenical Choir. He is a visionary who is collaborative - bringing new ideas and research based strategies with hopes to achieve successful outcomes. He dreams about the future success of The Brooklyn Ecumenical Choir and how we can cultivate the next generation of scholarly musicians who will continue the great legacy, mission, and vision of our founders, members and stakeholders.

Cliff recently earned his Ph. D. in Educational Leadership.  He also holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, a Master of Music in Choral Conductor, and Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy.
